I believe every home needs a Vitamix blender, full stop. Preparing yummy food for yourself and/or your family becomes so quick and easy, especially as you learn more and more tricks. Our first thought when we think of Vitamix blenders might be ‘smoothies’, but even if you don’t do smoothies, a Vitamix blender is invaluable.
From grating Parmesan cheese (no sawdust or nasties in sight when you grate your own!) to making soups from scratch (it even heats the soup up for you!). From grinding your own grains to preparing dips in a flash. Peanut butter, or other nut butters, are a breeze. Blend up yoghurt, mango’s and some honey to freeze into ice pops…. The possibilities are endless.
These days I don’t chop vegetables. The Vitamix does it for me. Run your blender on stand 3 (depending on the veg) and drop the veggies in through the hole in the lid. Wwwwrrrooom – tiny pieces of carrot! Pancakes are now thankfully lump-less thanks to my Vitamix – see my yummy blender pancake recipe
